ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
All designs are handmade; Each item is an exclusive, hand made work of art. Variations in the glass make each item unique.

DEFINITIONS

  Opaque Very dense glass, diffuses light

  Semi-Opaque Medium-light glass, considerable light transmission (Center sample)
  Clear Light glass, Nearly translucent (Left sample)

FRAMES
Our wood frames are constructed of fir and balsa wood.

SOLDER
Tin, copper and lead solder is used on the designs.
The Oriel, Alexandre, Loops and Rings, and Trellis are made on brass. Indiana made stained glass is inserted inside these designs.

CUSTOM DESIGNS
At this time we do not make custom designs.

DONATION / GIFT PROGRAM
From time to time we have cracked or damaged designs available. We would like to make these designs available to those people who will appreciate a piece of art, although slightly imperfect. Here are the details:


It is the D Dumas Company’s mission to donate a piece of our imperfect artwork to someone with a life limiting illness who no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments – a hospice care patient.

We feel that we can improve the quality of a patient’s last days by offering a portrait of art, a piece of beauty, a share of still life; by helping the hospice patient deal with the emotional, social and spiritual impacts of their disease. Our products beautify, can generate personal expressions, and are reminders of religious origins.
